Field Service Operations Leader

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 DOE
Position Summary: RAM Windows is in search of a skilled and proactive Field Service Operations Leader to manage a team of technicians responsible for the maintenance and repair of window and door systems. The successful candidate will ensure effective field operations and oversee logistical functions related to service, repairs, inventory management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Technicians in the installation, diagnosis, and repair of window and door systems.
- Organize and prioritize service calls, ensuring prompt and effective responses to client requests.
- Diagnose and communicate issues with installations to management and sales teams.
- Evaluate and confirm the proper functionality of window components, making adjustments or installing new parts as necessary.
- Maintain high standards of communication with clients, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the team's scheduling, ensuring efficient management of appointments and daily tasks.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on completed service tasks, maintaining a high level of service excellence.
- Supervise warehouse operations, including the handling of materials, inventory oversight, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Assist with on-site deliveries and perform related service tasks.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, office, and yard, following safety protocols.
- Verify all incoming vendor documentation and assign storage locations for received materials.
- Exhibit the ability to perform various window assembly tasks and service multiple window and door brands.
- High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of building and construction preferred; capable of working in both warehouse and field environments.
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize service demands effectively.
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 75 lbs independently and 100 lbs with assistance.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Demonstrated decision-making and judgment skills.
- Quality-focused, seeking continuous improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Collaborative team player, fostering good relationships with colleagues.
- Work primarily in field and warehouse settings, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina required for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, or squatting for extended periods.
- Ability to handle objects with dexterity and coordination.
- Specific vision abilities required for close-up and distance tasks.
