OSF HealthCare offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The expected hourly pay for this position is $33.46, with actual pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.
Position Summary:A Clinical Dietitian is a highly skilled professional in human nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. The role involves assessing patients' nutritional status, developing and implementing personalized nutrition care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients' current nutrition status and formulate interventions to address their needs.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans that align with patients' goals and preferences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food Science, or Nutrition.
- Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Illinois and Michigan) or must become registered within 6 months of hire.
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligible (Illinois).
- Basic Microsoft application proficiency.
- Previous experience working with patients in a group or individual setting.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing.
