Job Summary

UW Health in Northern Illinois is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a critical role in screening, assessing, intervening, and educating patients at nutritional risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences to support departmental philosophy and objectives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a valid license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation as a Registered Dietitian or successful completion of an internship program recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Specialty certification is required within 6 months of hire.
