Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Core Laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze monthly journal entries for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations for various legal entities
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and reviewing financial schedules
• Analyze intercompany transactions to ensure proper accounting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 5 years of general ledger accounting experience are required. Oracle or other integrated accounting software experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, is also required.

Language Skills

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to compose routine correspondence with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation is also required.
