Job Summary

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality of our products meets the high standards required by the aerospace industry. Your responsibilities will include supporting incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to ensure that company standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables
  • Enter inspection results into the manufacturing execution system
  • Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required
  • Perform first article inspections to support the component/part qualification
  • Read and interpret specifications and part prints
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations
  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation
  • Enforce FOE/FOD, ESD, and Calibration protocols
  • Communicate and assist in the resolution of quality-related problems
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of PCBA inspection and IPC-A-610 certification or previous experience
  • Background in RF Microwave hybrid assembly (MIL-STD-883 or MIL-PRF required)
  • Experience with Cable Inspection, certification or previous experience to IPC-A-620 a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work with little instruction on daily work
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of plating and conversion coating specifications a plus
  • Knowledge of Aegis Factory Logix a plus
  • Experience working in the aerospace/defense industry
