Role Summary
We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician PRN to join our dedicated team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality and efficient care to all patients. If you are passionate about patient care and thrive in a supportive environment, we invite you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise and timely laboratory tests.
- Collaborate with medical technologists and supervisors for the interpretation of clinical laboratory data.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient results.
- Execute urgent procedures and routine tests within established timeframes.
- Monitor pending logs and address any outstanding workload.
- Implement quality control measures and document findings accordingly.
- Take corrective actions when test results fall outside acceptable parameters.
- Assist in meeting departmental regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science is required.
- A State of Florida Technician License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
- ASCP or similar certification is advantageous.
