  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the paving crew.
  • Maintain accurate timecards and other records of daily operations, including equipment usage, production rates, and project progress.
  • Coordinate the delivery and allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel to optimize workflow and productivity.
  • Assist in training new crew members, promoting skill development and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide innovative solutions to overcome challenges that may arise during the paving process.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, striving to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
Requirements
  • Experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman or a similar supervisory role in construction, with a solid understanding of paving techniques and equipment.
  • Proficiency in operating paving equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations and a track record of promoting a safe work environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions on-site.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project timelines.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction software, tools, and equipment maintenance.
