Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a highly skilled Pipe Layer Foreman to oversee the pipe laying operation in assigned areas. The successful candidate will supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of 3-15 construction employees daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers
  • Schedule and coordinate activities with other trades
  • Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements
  • Locate, measure, and mark site locations
  • Record information on personnel, production, and operational data
  • Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction activities
  • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites
Requirements
  • 5 years of construction foreman experience preferred
  • 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing crews and subcontractors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, and vendors
  • Ability to read and understand work plans
  • Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
