The Walsh Group is seeking a highly skilled Pipe Layer Foreman to oversee the pipe laying operation in assigned areas. The successful candidate will supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of 3-15 construction employees daily.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers
- Schedule and coordinate activities with other trades
- Read specifications and plans to determine construction requirements
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations
- Record information on personnel, production, and operational data
- Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction activities
- Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites
- 5 years of construction foreman experience preferred
- 5-8 years of verifiable construction experience required
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing crews and subcontractors
- Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, and vendors
- Ability to read and understand work plans
- Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
