Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify potential health risks and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including rounding checks and family member communication
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of hire (for Critical Care/IMCU)
