As a vital member of our team, the Retail Security Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the store's assets against theft and loss. Collaborating closely with the District Security Manager, you will assist in formulating and implementing effective Shrink Reduction Strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vigilant surveillance on the sales floor and utilize advanced CCTV systems to identify, monitor, and deter potential theft incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regarding apprehensions, evidence preservation, and search procedures.
  • Prepare thorough and timely reports on theft occurrences, merchandise recoveries, and incident investigations.
  • Provide testimony in court as required, representing the company in criminal or civil cases.
  • Enhance store loss prevention awareness by actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Support operations across multiple store locations as needed.
  • Investigate internal theft using various analytical tools and collaborate with District Security Managers.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with team members and customers.
  • Capability to remain on your feet and actively monitor the sales floor throughout your shift.
  • Compliance with all licensing requirements as mandated by local regulations.
  • Adherence to the company's dress code and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
