Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Project Engineers and Construction Superintendents on field-related matters
  • Represent BLHI in Quality Control matters with clients
  • Manage review and evaluation of technical requirements and documents for quality criteria
  • Develop and manage QC inspection and test procedures for all trades
  • Monitor on-site and off-site QC facilities and activities

Requirements:

  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
  • 10+ years' experience in Construction Quality Control

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-end, high-rise, commercial construction projects
  • Experience in highly technical Department of Defense or Department of State projects
  • ACI Certification

Physical Demands:

To perform the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to repetitively use hands to grasp, reach above and below with arms, and work overhead, as well as lift, carry, and/or move up to 25 lbs. of weight in the form of paper, boxes, files, etc.

The employee must also have the ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing required, possess manual dexterity to operate office equipment, filing, and perform specialized skills, and work in a busy office environment.
