About the Role

The Catering Operations Manager provides critical support to the venue management team by overseeing all aspects of catering and concessions operations. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive operational strategies to ensure exceptional customer experience, while maintaining profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Develop and implement effective operational plans, procedures, and best practices to ensure seamless execution of catering and concessions services.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of catering and concessions staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure exceptional service delivery and employee development.
  • Event Management: Collaborate with event planners and customers to provide personalized catering and concessions solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and ensure optimal inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent in hospitality, food service, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in catering, concessions, or related field, with a proven track record of operational management and team leadership.
  • Certifications: Nationally recognized certifications in food service sanitation, safety, and customer service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
