Position Overview: IGT is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales for Sports Wagering to join our expanding PlaySports team. This pivotal role demands a subject matter expert who will take comprehensive ownership of all pre-sales and sales initiatives, including prospecting and showcasing our Sports Wagering system. The ideal candidate will possess direct, hands-on experience with sports wagering platforms and systems, demonstrating the ability to swiftly understand technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive lead generation and prepare impactful sales presentations.
  • Conduct demonstrations of IGT's Sports Wagering system.
  • Assist in crafting proposals, responding to RFPs, and developing sales materials.
  • Act as an ambassador for our Sports Wagering solutions at industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Analyze potential new markets to assess regulations, competitive landscape, and opportunities.
  • Gather competitor and product information to provide insights back to the organization.
  • Utilize CRM and other tools to meticulously track all sales activities.
  • Maintain and produce a consolidated prospects pipeline for commercial planning, analysis, and forecasting.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sports wagering, ideally within operations or technology.
  • Experience in B2B customer-focused roles with a sports wagering supplier or technology firm is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective presentations and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Performance-driven, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
  • No barriers to obtaining a gaming license in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Willingness to travel as required for business purposes.
