At Penn Machine Company LLC, we're looking for a skilled Medical Parts Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you'll play a critical role in assembling and testing medical equipment parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble purchased and fabricated parts on feed trailers and feed bodies.
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
- Install hydraulic lines & electrical wiring on feed trailers and feed bodies.
- Install air lines and valves as directed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in transportation and/or agriculture equipment manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to stand and move about on concrete 8-12 hours a day.
- Ability to do the heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) multiple times daily in a 10 to 12-hour shift.
- Ability to maneuver large parts and assemblies (up to 180 pounds) by pushing, pulling, and flipping them into place.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Steel or Composite Toed Boots and hearing protection is required.
