Position Overview:

Become a vital member of our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team as a Recovery Support Advocate, assisting adults facing significant mental health challenges on their path to wellness.

By leveraging both your personal journey and professional training, you will cultivate supportive connections, assist in crafting Wellness Action Plans, and link individuals to essential community resources.

Your responsibilities will include advocating for clients, promoting open communication, and ensuring accurate documentation. Flexibility for evening and weekend hours may be necessary to support clients in urgent situations. If you are dedicated to uplifting others and fostering resilience, we welcome your interest.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Personal experience with mental health challenges and recovery, and/or experience in a Peer Support environment
  • Preferred training in Intentional Peer Support and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), though not mandatory
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in utilizing technology necessary for job functions
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance coverage.
