Job Title: LPN - Overnight Nurses - Home Health

At Twin Lakes Recovery Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Monroe, Georgia. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients in a home health setting.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of a qualified professional nurse and participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. You will provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to clients in a home health setting
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
  • Assist in relevant health and psychiatric teaching for clients and families
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff, receive verbal/written orders, and take care to minimize errors
  • Prepare, administer, control, and accurately record medications in accordance with policy
  • Observe, document, and communicate with/reports to the R.N. in charge any clinical, physical, unit, or personnel issues that could alter client care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program required
  • One or more years' nursing experience within a clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred
  • Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within a recovery setting
  • Valid current practical/vocational nursing license from the state or from a nurse compact state, where applicable
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by the facility)
