Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough service and repairs on various heavy machinery, including Caterpillar equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues related to engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients.
  • Safely operate machinery to identify diagnostic errors and implement effective solutions.
  • Foster and maintain a service-oriented relationship with clients and supervisors.
  • Complete service documentation promptly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal technical training program and a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in engine, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate safety gear in the workshop.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and provide personal tools.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves working in a shop environment where physical activity such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs is common. Safety equipment may be necessary, and the noise level can vary from moderate to high. Flexibility in working hours is essential to meet the demands of the job.
