Job Summary

The Medical Assistant Coordinator is a vital member of the outpatient clinic team, providing operational and administrative support to providers, leaders, and staff. This role requires a knowledgeable resource who can assist with day-to-day activities across all aspects of clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to providers and staff, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with clinical tasks, such as preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and performing basic lab tests.
  • Support clinic operations, including managing supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare software applications.
  • 3 Years' experience in physician practice or outpatient clinic setting, serving in both administrative and clinical support roles preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • Medical Assistant Certification/Registration or Current Vermont State LNA License preferred.
