Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Imaging Services Coordinator to join our team. As an Imaging Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient scheduling and preparation for in-department appointments and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between radiology, patient services, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a medical-related office or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other computerized systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Certification in medical assisting or a related field.
- Competitive salary range: $25.15 - $29.40 per hour.
