Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team at Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing general operational supervision to assigned personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for designated staff, providing leadership, coaching, and recognition to ensure the success of the team.
  2. Schedule and manage labor and resources within budgetary guidelines, implementing waste reduction initiatives and establishing priorities, workloads, and controls.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA, and CLIA, and maintain accreditation for patient care and nursing.
  4. Participate in task forces to plan, implement, and coordinate activities to maximize service quality, compliance effectiveness, and efficiency.
  5. Serve as a resource and communication liaison, facilitating timely and accurate dissemination of information within the organization and to parent partners.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology, and four years of training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, MLS or Specialty Certification, and one year of supervisory experience.
