Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and conduct performance evaluations for designated staff, providing leadership, coaching, and recognition to ensure the success of the team.
- Schedule and manage labor and resources within budgetary guidelines, implementing waste reduction initiatives and establishing priorities, workloads, and controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA, and CLIA, and maintain accreditation for patient care and nursing.
- Participate in task forces to plan, implement, and coordinate activities to maximize service quality, compliance effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Serve as a resource and communication liaison, facilitating timely and accurate dissemination of information within the organization and to parent partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology, and four years of training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, MLS or Specialty Certification, and one year of supervisory experience.
