Job Summary

The Learning Support Assistant will work under the direction of a Special Education Teacher to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs in independent, enrichment, and remedial settings

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or experience working with children preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
