Job Description:

As a Catering Delivery Professional, you will be responsible for assembling, delivering, and setting up catering orders at off-site locations in a timely manner. You will work closely with our catering sales managers, general managers, and shift leaders to ensure seamless execution of orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packages and Delivers Orders: Safely and efficiently package and deliver catering orders to customers, ensuring that all products are in good condition and arrive on time.
  • Prepares Food and Products: Prepare food and other products for catering orders according to our recipes and quality standards.
  • Drives Company-Owned Vehicle: Safely operate a company-owned vehicle to deliver customer orders, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintains Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, adhering to food safety procedures and maintaining a neat and clean appearance.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License and Good MVR Report: Possess a valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record (MVR) report for the last three years.
  • Good Time Management and Multi-Tasking Skills: Demonstrate good time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Good Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

The position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting items and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. You will also work with hot, cold, and hazardous restaurant equipment.

Accountabilities:

  • Follow Directions: Follow the directions of the catering sales managers, general managers, assistant managers, and shift leaders.
  • Complete Job Responsibilities: Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner, in accordance with Sterling Restaurants' policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a Harmonious Working Environment: Maintain a harmonious working environment that maximizes morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Represent the Company Positively: Always represent Sterling Restaurants positively in the community.
