Job Title: Incoming Quality Assurance Technician I

CTG, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Incoming Quality Assurance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Accept or reject products based on inspection results and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Record inspection findings on designated forms and maintain accurate records.
  • Procure inspection samples from in-process or finished products as required.
  • Inspect labels, lot numbers, count, and packaging configuration for compliance with specifications.
  • Reject defective products and notify the manufacturing supervisor and quality technician.
  • Write Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMR) and coordinate with operations to pull suspected product off skids/pallets.
  • Maintain a daily log of inspection results to serve as a reference for inspectors on other shifts.
  • Assist with the inspection and testing of validation samples, raw materials, and/or incoming inspections as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following GMP and ISO regulations and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience performing quality inspections or serving in a quality control role.
  • Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures, manufacturing work instructions, and forms.
  • Proficiency in performing simple math calculations (e.g., addition and subtraction).
  • Participation in regular on-the-job training regarding product, cGMP/Quality, equipment, processes, performance, and any changes impacting daily production.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to industrial machinery, moving parts, electrical, and other energy sources.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including but not limited to lab coats, hair/beard covers, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, and head coverings.
  • Exposure to fumes and chemicals such as cleaners, inks, and solvents.
  • Exposure to high-frequency noise.
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds.
