Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team in Washington, Georgia. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform limited diagnosis, routine repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles.
• Assist higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems, including internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy-duty drive line systems, hydraulic utility systems, and controls.
• Make routine repairs that can be accomplished by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components.
• Perform work in accordance with technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations, or management policies.

Working Conditions:
• Work is performed both inside and outside, often in bad weather, mud, or snow, and in wet or icy areas.
• Frequently exposed to dust, heat, fumes, hard damp floors, or ground.
• Often exposed to the possibility of cuts, burns, bruises, and sprains while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment.
