Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Surface Maintenance Repairer to join our team at Army National Guard Units. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $55,000-$65,000, depending on location and experience.

About the Job:

This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Army National Guard Membership. The position is located in Washington, Georiga and Area of Consideration is Open to current members Georgia Army National Guard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles
  2. Assist higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems
  3. Maintain supply documentation, receipt, store, issue, and inventory of tools and parts used in trades operation
