About the Role

Your expertise and passion for endocrinology will enable you to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and adrenal disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services, ensuring the safety, comfort, and protection of patients
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures
  • Administer medications and therapeutic agents as necessary to implement the treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care
  • Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and the initiation of peripheral venous access
  • Observe signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, general behavior, and/or general physical condition
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
  • A current, unrestricted California RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience
  • Experience in endocrinology is preferred
