Crescens is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in overseeing multiple ongoing Information Technology enhancement projects supporting the DLI Vocational Rehabilitation, Central Services, Labor and Safety Management (VCL) division.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) or Detail Design Sessions (DDS) to gather business requirements and develop functional and system requirements documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, business rules, processes, and legislation to generate functional and system requirements documentation.
- Plan and coordinate overall testing efforts, including test plan creation and execution of test scenarios for system integration testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Orchestrate coordination and execution of Training Plan, including development of training materials, quick reference guides, and standard operating procedures manuals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Commonwealth information technology policies and EBR-DC guidelines, security, and related standards.
- Analyze legislation or other business documentation to determine necessary IT system or business process changes.
- Escalate issues and potential project risks to appropriate management, including compliance risks or limitations of available information technology services risks impacting development completion or impacts to schedules.
- Experience using formal requirements gathering methodologies.
- Experience developing business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience developing Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Experience developing Training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) materials.
- Experience working to facilitate collaboration across the full range of executive, business, and technical resources.
- Experience with testing efforts, including test plan, test scenarios for SIT and UAT, and organizing users to facilitate effective tests.
- Experience working on state government projects/assignments.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent.
- Business Analyst Certification (certification from an accredited organization like IIBA).
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project software and Team Foundation server (Dev Ops version).
- Experience with PM methodologies and/or managing & tracking a project against a project plan.
