Long-term Primary Care Physician Opportunity in California

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team on a long-term locum tenens basis in Irvine, California.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated physician who is passionate about providing high-quality care to patients of all ages in an outpatient primary care setting. The role requires a physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, with a strong preference for candidates who are already licensed in California.
Key Responsibilities- Care for all age groups, from children to geriatrics
- Perform minor in-office procedures such as cyst removal, laceration repair, and skin biopsies
- Proficiency in Epic EMR is highly preferred
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Preferred but not required)
- State License: Must hold a current and unrestricted California medical license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred)
- Active DEA certificate
- Minimum of 6 months of recent outpatient Family Medicine primary care experience
- Charting Experience: Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred
The clinic environment offers a collaborative team atmosphere where you can deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. This position does not require any call duties, allowing you to focus on patient care during clinic hours. With a full support staff available, including practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, and patient care associates, you will have everything you need to provide exceptional patient care.
Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience.
