Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerial Construction Supervisor to join our team at Charter Communications. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of aerial construction efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of in-house construction teams and contract labor to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
  • Plan and organize aerial construction efforts, including designing plant layouts, drawing and sketching installation and location of equipment and cable, and completing bill of materials (BOM) needed for planned construction.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Perform site inspections for quality control and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers and developers to design and implement construction projects.
  • Reconcile submitted invoices to work completed in the field and ensure accurate payment.
  • Communicate with management and other stakeholders to provide updates on construction progress and address any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of OSP construction work experience in the Telecom field.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • CDL License.
  • Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, or Associates degree in electronics or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project supervision experience in HFC/FTTH construction.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in an office and field environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, noise, insects, rodents, pets, and cleaning solutions. You will also work outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or night, and may be required to work near power lines and electricity.

This role requires travel with in-house crews and may involve working at heights above ground on telephone/power poles.
