Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Account Director to lead our pharma/biotech practice. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing complex client relationships, developing and executing strategic communications plans, and mentoring a team of account experts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day client relationships and develop strategic communications plans
  • Manage a team of account experts and specialists in strategy, digital, creative, and more
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure growth and development
  • Effectively manage team utilization and maintain financial responsibility for accounts
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare trends and best practices
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a public relations agency, with deep experience in pharmaceutical product communications
  • Experience across a broad spectrum of healthcare communications initiatives, including disease awareness, data milestones, corporate reputation, and branded campaigns
  • Deep understanding of the integrated communications landscape and how digital, creative, strategy, and analytics fit seamlessly into account operations
  • Passion for creativity and ideas that deliver meaningful impact
  • Superb management skills and experience motivating and inspiring colleagues
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
