Job Overview

At SPS, we are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing a loan portfolio through the bankruptcy process, ensuring timely and accurate management of loans to protect the assets of the company.

Responsibilities

* Maintain a bankruptcy portfolio on an independent basis, prioritizing and handling multiple projects with competing time constraints
* Monitor and delegate work performed by Outside Counsel to ensure bankruptcy timelines are met
* Develop and maintain working relationships with outside counsel, trustees, and bankruptcy courts
* Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

* 1-2 years of experience in call center, bankruptcy, mortgage, or foreclosure
* Ability to manage time to maintain department productivity standards
* Detail orientation and strong project management skills
* Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access
* Strong interpersonal skills, including professionalism, courtesy, and empathy
