Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Management Coordinator to join our team in downtown Los Angeles. This 6-month contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-level events and collaborate with internal and external work groups.

About the Role

This role requires a minimum of 6 years of experience along with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree in Facility Management operations and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering maintenance for facility assets, including buildings, residences, grounds, and equipment. They will also administer various facility management service and supplier contracts, perform quality control inspections, approve contractors' invoices, and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities
  • Administer maintenance for facility assets, including buildings, residences, grounds, and equipment
  • Administer various facility management service and supplier contracts
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure all work is being performed in accordance with contract specifications and client standards
  • Approve contractors' invoices
  • Maintain schedules, coordinate contractors and staff trades, and keep management informed on all elements of each repair or project
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience along with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience with a Master's degree in Facility Management operations and services
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a Contract Administration/Management position in a building/facility maintenance/management environment is also required
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (PWPT and Excel) and knowledge in Facility Management operations and services
  • Personable, team player, flexible, multitasker, and handles pressure well
  • Detail orientation, project-oriented, negotiator, organized, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid CA driver license
  • No Cal PERS membership
