Mid-Level Database Administrator

TQI Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced database administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering database applications to support our mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct requirements analysis, design, and develop database applications to meet business needs.
  • Provide operational support for database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure proper data verification following system recovery and data format conversion.
  • Generate reports and provide printout support for databases.
  • Assist in the development of operating procedures and user technical manuals for database systems.
Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience in database administration, including designing, developing, and administering database applications.
  • Hands-on experience with database management systems, including Oracle, Sybase, and Informix.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Access and SharePoint.
  • Experience with IT hardware and software installation and administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of IA/IO concepts and A&A processes.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, including jQuery, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Experience with RedHat, Tomcat, Apache, and other software and server tools.
