Role Overview
The Head of Marketing Growth Strategies will spearhead high-performing teams focused on crafting and implementing lead generation, educational outreach, and customer retention initiatives.

This role requires leveraging marketing acumen, data analysis, customer insights, and product knowledge to enhance organizational value.

The position will direct strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining customers for GuideStone across both B2B and B2C markets.

The Head of Marketing Growth Strategies will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborate closely with business leaders and stakeholders to establish a clear vision, set objectives, and deliver customer experiences that meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and implement comprehensive strategies to boost qualified leads through social engagement, demand generation, and conversion.
- Collaborate with business leaders to create strategic marketing plans and oversee their execution.
- Enhance website and social media platforms to grow audience engagement and convert prospects.
- Design impactful campaigns and content tailored to specific buyer personas.
- Communicate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to internal stakeholders.
- Manage marketing automation processes that guide customers from awareness to conversion.
- Monitor and report on real-time performance metrics.
- Plan and oversee projects that drive customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Utilize data analytics to derive actionable insights and demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business objectives to achieve desired outcomes.

Accountability:
This role is responsible for unlocking value from both internal and external data to inform decisions, recommend adjustments, predict outcomes, and prescribe actions that support employees and strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership:
- Foster problem-solving, strategic thinking, and customer-focused approaches within the team.
- Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate a compelling vision to integrate marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adapting to frequent interruptions and time constraints.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and departments.
- Work effectively with both technical and creative teams, as well as business leaders, to define requirements and execute strategies.
- Manage relationships with agency partners as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full scope of supervision, including performance reviews of assigned staff.
- Directly supervise marketing strategists across various sectors, including Retirement, Insurance, Investment, and Mission:Dignity.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Lead project planning and execution.
- Contribute to the training and development of team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management information systems, or communications preferred.
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or a related field.
- Membership in a faith-aligned church.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5%.
- Proven ability to align people, processes, and technology to achieve business outcomes.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing team members to foster an enthusiastic and productive environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong track record in managing complex projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant GuideStone applications.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with financial services products and processes is preferred.
- Highly self-motivated with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable to change and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Understanding of the unique ministry and business environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters.
