Job Summary

Washington Physician Services Org. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to physicians and other medical staff, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
  • Assist with patient intake, medical histories, and other clinical procedures, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with minor surgeries.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear understanding of medical information and treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in medical assisting or a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and occasional weekends, as needed.
