About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Northwest team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a collaborative environment that promotes quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develop and implement education plans to promote health and wellness among patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a BSN degree or current enrollment in a BSN program with completion within three years of hire.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within one month of hire.
