- Supervise and guide junior chefs and kitchen personnel within your designated section.
- Ensure that food quality and presentation consistently meet high standards.
- Assist in the planning and development of menus, considering guest preferences and dietary needs.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is in optimal condition.
- Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff on culinary techniques and food safety protocols.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a secure working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply ordering as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as dining and bar services, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in special events and culinary promotions as required.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable role within a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international cuisines and cooking methods.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure in a dynamic setting.
- Team-oriented with robust leadership qualities.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to work and reside on a cruise ship for extended durations.
