Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team at BD Holt Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain physical requirements for work completion, including facilities, tools, and environmental conditions.
  • Model and reinforce company policies and practices to ensure alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Achieve labor sales and utilization expectations to meet team revenue targets.
  • Perform job duties of a Service Supervisor during periods of absence.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Provide quality control and assurance inspections of completed tasks.
  • Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications.
  • Rebuild, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer relations and support.
  • Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
  • Complete parts orders and identify parts for return.
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and training to others.
  • Maintain all equipment and work areas in good condition.
  • Work safely at all times and adhere to safety policies.
  • Work overtime as required by workload and customer needs.
  • Update job knowledge through educational opportunities.
Requirements
  • More than 6 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand information.
  • Ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Work Environment
  • Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts.
  • May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside.
  • Noise level may be loud at times.
  • Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment.
  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment.
