About the Role

Graham Windham is seeking a highly experienced Senior Family Foster Care Operations Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Enhanced Family Foster Care Services. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safety and stability of all children receiving EFFC services within their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Socio-Therapist Oversight: Ensure that socio-therapists are creating Child Well-Being Outcomes that are inclusive of family input, build on client strengths, and are realistic, culturally competent, and in accordance with City, State, and Federal Regulations.
  • Family Engagement: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with children, natural, and foster parents, ensuring that socio-therapists are making prescribed contacts and collateral service providers.
Program Development and Management
  • Treatment Planning: Ensure that each child receives effective treatment, including trained foster parents and program staff managing behavior using practice models implemented within the program.
  • Medical and Mental Health Support: Ensure that each child receives appropriate medical and mental health care, strong education, pro-social, and extra-curricular enrichment, and preparation for adulthood.
  • Intake and Admissions: Effectively manage EFFC intake, responding to ACS/OPA referrals in a reasonable timeframe, maintaining good tracking systems, and scheduling ITT meetings within 60 days of placement.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Staff Supervision: Provide formal and informal supervision to supervisors, holding individual bi-weekly meetings and team meetings monthly, evaluating staff performance, and assessing strengths and developmental needs.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues within the agency, community, and government agencies to achieve favorable results for children and families.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in home finding; 3 Years of Supervisory/Management experience
  • LCSW/LMSW
  • Computer literate and familiar with NYS OCFS's CONNECTIONS system
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public presentation skills
