Job Description:
The Clinical Care Director - Senior Nursing Leader is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident care services in our senior living community. This role requires strong clinical leadership skills, with the ability to manage and direct nursing staff, develop and implement care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Manage and Direct Nursing Staff: Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure that residents receive high-quality care and services.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the community complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to resident care.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care services.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Participate in the recruitment and training of nursing staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Analyze Quality Metrics: Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance resident care services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current State/Provincial License as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN): Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state or province where the community is located.
- Minimum Two Years RN Experience: At least two years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least one year in a long-term care or assisted living setting.
- Nursing Management Experience: Minimum one year of experience in nursing management, including supervising and directing nursing staff.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid: Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid.
