Team Lead for Retail Excellence

This role requires an individual who can excel in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring seamless store operations. As a Team Lead for Retail Excellence, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Store Layout and Merchandising: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product displays that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Sales and Labor Targets: Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring optimal store performance.
- Analyzing Sales Reports: Assist in analyzing sales reports, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to improve sales performance.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate advanced product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products, services, and promotions.
- Vendor Relationships: Maintain excellent vendor relationships, develop new vendor connections, and ensure timely paperwork submission for vendor processing.
- Team Leadership: Work closely with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns, address issues, and foster a positive work environment.
- Departmental Responsibility: Function as the department's point person and leader in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and open communication.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and questions.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift 50 pounds and move around the store with ease.
- Standing and Walking: Stand or walk for extended periods, potentially exceeding 6-8 hours per day.
- Hand Use and dexterity: Single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling are required for various tasks.
- Environmental Exposure: Exposure to temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and potential wet conditions.
We offer a competitive salary range of $20.05-$35.00 hourly, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide 'Whole Benefits', which may include health insurance, retirement plan benefits, store discounts, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs. Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable Whole Benefits plan at a person's date of hire.
