At TBHE LA, we are on a mission to celebrate the beauty and culture of Black Hair. As an Assistant Experience Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading a team of passionate individuals.

About the Role

This part-time position involves assisting the Experience Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising a team, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment. You will be responsible for handling customer complaints, questions, and concerns, as well as collaborating with the Experience Manager to lead staff and run the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist with re-stocking the Retail Therapy Shop, completing fulfillment orders as needed, and properly opening and closing the store location.
  • Partner with the Experience Manager to identify ways to improve workplace efficiency and keep staff engaged and motivated.
  • Serve as a liaison between Experience Ambassadors and Managers, providing guidance and support when needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of retail experience, leadership experience is a plus.
  • An eagerness to learn, grow, and help lead a team of Experience Ambassadors.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others, function as a leader and a team player.
