Job Summary

Fiber Glass Systems (FGS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the Permian Basin. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting sales objectives for FGS business unit within NOV in the assigned region and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve Fiber Glass Systems O&G Sales and Business development objectives for the assigned region and Customer.
  • Lead FGS sales on Spoolable and Jointed Fiberglass Pipe as well as Fiberglass Tanks.
  • Target new customers, new applications and follow on sales leads.
  • Instruct distributors, contractors and customers concerning product applications.
  • Visit customer facilities and/or construction jobsites to monitor project progress and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate product complaints and assist customers and distributors in finding satisfactory solutions to sales and service problems.
  • Remain current in knowledge of competitive activities including product lines, pricing, services, market penetration.
  • Participate in trade shows, customer events within FGS and NOV.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of relevant technical sales experience calling on customers.
  • 4-6 years experience on Piping Industry. Fiberglass Piping, Fiberglass Spoolable Pipe.
  • Experience managing independent representatives and distributors.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or Material Science or Industrial Technology or Business Administration or any equivalent University technical degree) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical knowledge and / or experience with FRP composites and or Thermoplastic lined FRP composites used in Oil & Gas preferred.
