About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to lead our Pediatric Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Clinic as a Clinical Director. This is a full-time clinical track faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based outpatient mental and behavioral health assessment and intervention programs for diverse youth and families.
  • Provide consultation to medical and interprofessional teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and management of the interprofessional outpatient clinic, including program planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the clinic manager, departmental leaders, and development office to advance clinical, educational, research, and community programs.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to foster synergy and comprehensive systems of care for youth and families.
  • Teach and mentor medical fellows, residents, and students in pediatric psychology and behavioral health.
  • Participate in departmental, school of medicine, and health system committees and educational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology or comparable professional board.
