Faculty Position in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a faculty member in the Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. As a pediatric pulmonologist and sleep medicine specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of clinicians and researchers who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with respiratory and sleep disorders.
About the PositionThis is an open rank faculty position, and we are looking for candidates who are board certified/eligible in pediatric pulmonary medicine and have an M.D. degree or equivalent. The successful candidate will have expertise in general pediatric pulmonary medicine, with a special interest in asthma, bronchoscopy, cystic fibrosis, or sleep medicine. Our TeamThe Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine is a dynamic and collaborative team that is committed to providing high-quality patient care, conducting innovative research, and teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our team includes five pediatric pulmonologists, two nurse practitioners, three RN clinical coordinators, and two administrative assistants. We have a strong research program, with ongoing studies in asthma, cystic fibrosis, and sleep medicine.
Our FacilitiesWe have a state-of-the-art outpatient facility on the University of Virginia Medical Center campus, as well as satellite programs in Richmond and Lynchburg. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology, including a pediatric sleep lab that is one of the largest in the state of Virginia. We also have a strong partnership with the University of Virginia School of Data Science, which provides opportunities for collaborative research and data analysis.
