Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at TranSystems Corporation. This is a key role that will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Regional Business Operations Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Regional Business Operations Manager with business, administrative, operational, and financial management of offices within their area.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to administrative staff, including communicating performance expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Study procedures and make recommendations to improve project and office efficiency and performance.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, holds, utilization, and write-offs, and work with Project Managers and Client Managers to determine appropriate plans to ensure accounts receivable are paid in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing annual operating budget for each office in their area and maintain total awareness and/or execution of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with staff to distribute monthly manpower report and assist in monitoring and managing the labor force of offices within their designated area.
  • Approve accounts payable in the absence of the Regional Business Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e. Business Administration) preferred with a minimum of 10 years experience in a variety of responsible business positions, including marketing, human resources, information technology, and accounting.
  • Previous experience with transportation consulting or professional services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business and office operations, including project management and processes.
  • Ability to understand and analyze business financial and project reports and communicate the results to various levels within the company.
  • Ability to define and solve operational problems and issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of employees and management.
