Language Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Partners in Special Education. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing services and consultation to teachers at school sites, preparing therapy materials, and adapting or modifying instructional materials as needed.
You will work closely with our Speech and Language Pathologist to develop and implement effective therapy plans that meet the needs of our students.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of child cognitive development and different learning styles
- The ability to implement students' IEPs effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting (preferred)
The estimated salary for this role is $28.50 - $32.50 per hour, depending on experience.
