Job Description

A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will join our Information Security team, responsible for protecting data and systems in core systems and platforms. The ideal candidate will vigilantly monitor security activities on the network and oversee robust security infrastructure.

The role involves spearheading efforts to prevent and remediate cybersecurity incidents through continuous optimization of policies and rules. This includes designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade firewall solutions to enforce network security policies.

The successful candidate will also configure and deploy security tools and technologies specific to cloud environments, such as cloud access security brokers, web application firewalls, and cloud-native security services.

In addition, they will architect and deploy secure access service edge solutions integrating security capabilities for comprehensive protection of distributed networks and remote users.

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will implement and optimize centralized identity and access management systems, ensuring secure access to resources and data and adhering to least privilege principles.

They will utilize Microsoft Security Suite tools for threat detection, investigation, and response across on-premises and cloud environments.

The engineer will develop and implement cybersecurity policies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, fostering continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation measures to enhance overall security posture.

The successful candidate must communicate complex security concepts effectively, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive security initiatives.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressively in-depth IT experience covering IT Security (I.E. Network Security/Systems/Application Security) and an advanced understanding of networks
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on Network / Systems / Security Engineering
  • Exposure to Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) technologies
  • Experience with handling traffic sources/destinations
  • Exposure to enforcing/creating new policies, processes, permissions, etc.
  • Ability to work with PAM/IAM/authentication with PoLP (principle of least privilege) and use certificates / SSO / MFA
  • Operating firewalls, security architectures, and zero trust mechanisms
  • Ability to tune a VPN
