We are looking for a motivated individual with a customer service mindset and excellent communication skills to assist with processing claims. As a Claims Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate claim submissions to carriers, documenting claim updates, and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit claims information accurately and timely to carriers via email, ensuring a paper trail for all interactions.
  • Document claim details thoroughly in Epic, including creating activities and attaching relevant documentation.
  • Summarize claim updates and attach supporting documentation to each activity in Epic.
  • Set timely follow-ups to verify carrier adjuster contact information and claim number, and provide updates to clients and Claims Advocates as necessary.
  • Notify Claims Advocates of claim status changes and material changes to low-touch claims.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in claims processing and insurance industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of related claims experience.
  • Strong Outlook abilities preferred.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to learn multiple systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Agency Management software.
