Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Assembler to join our team at Benchmark Electronics. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for preparing products for systems-level assembly, including unpacking, setup, assembly, final packaging, and repair as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Access and verify necessary paperwork and drawings for each job assignment
  • Enter batch lot information, package, and label accessory items according to documented instructions
  • Use appropriate mats and required tooling
  • Check equipment to ensure proper performance
  • Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
  • Assemble various systems integration subassemblies
  • Notify leadership of any shutdown situations
  • Enter data into the Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final units
  • Enter quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
  • Ensure the quality of work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble units in certified repair operations
  • Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of SI experience
  • Ability to perform repair or test; some heavy mechanical assembly
  • Good component recognition skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company
  • Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to work with diverse groups
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
